Enjoy the Benefits of New Golf Grips

Selection

Prevent slippage and boost confidence with new golf grips.

Choose from a wide selection of top-selling grips to match your needs. From various sizes to different materials, each grip is constructed to help your golf swing.

Shop top golf grip brands such as Golf Pride, PING, Winn, Lamkin, SuperStroke, TaylorMade, Callaway, Odyssey, Boccieri Golf, GolfWorks and Tiger Shark.

Buying Tips

Consider regripping your golf clubs once a year or after 40 rounds of play. Heat, dirt and oils from your hands naturally wear down your grips even the best golf grips age.

Here are some signs you need to regrip:

  • Smooth, hard spots
  • Wear spots or finger indentations
  • Cracks
  • Insufficient track
  • Slipping feeling during your swing
  • The traction of a fresh grip allows you to hold the club lightly without the subconscious fear of losing the club during your swing. With new golf grips, experience proper swing mechanics and wrist action while in a relaxed state.

Expert Advice

Know you have the right grip size when there is only a slight gap between the tips of your fingers and the heel portion of your palm. A grip that is too small can cause you to have too much wrist action and commonly leads to pulling the ball. One that is too large can restrict your wrist action and can cause you to slice or push the shot.

If you play in wet and humid weather, special care should be taken to select the right golf grip. Grips that include cord fabric are especially helpful in creating extra traction and support in wet conditions. However, cord grips are sometimes too aggressive for some players hands. If cord is not an option, look for a grip with a heavy pattern and surface texture to provide the necessary traction to keep your clubs from flying out of your hands. Smooth grips and grips made of plastic or other polymers are not well suited for play in wet conditions.

Golf Galaxy offers professional grip installation at all golf store locations. Whether you need to regrip one club or your entire set, the skilled Certified Club Technicians put you back on the course in no time.
